The EU Commission has published the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) 2018. An index, Denmark tops once again.
DESI is structured around five main pillars: Connectivity, Human Capital, Use of Internet Services, Integration of Digital Technology, and Digital Public Services.
Denmark has improved in all areas compared to last year, with the exception of a minor decrease in the area of ‘Integration of Digital Technology’. However, Denmark still maintains its top position within the area.
In addition, Denmark has experienced a growth in the percentage of ICT specialists and Denmark continues to be on the forefront when it comes to the use of technology by businesses. Danish businesses are increasingly embracing digital technologies, such as cloud computing (38%) and social media (29 %).
